Vivrelle Review: Is It Worth It? (My Honest Thoughts + How It Works)

Sharing the full Vivrelle review again if I think it’s worth it. If you want to try it, you can use GINAHARNEY for your first month for free here.

Hello hello! How are you? Hope you have a great future so far! I went to preschool for a bit and I have a podcast interview later today. I also have to stop by UPS to return my latest Vivrelle bag; one of my favorite loans so far!

In today’s post, I thought I’d share a full review of Vivrelle now that I’ve been using (and reviewing) their service for the past few months.

If you’ve wanted to try different designer bags and jewelry without the designer price tag, you’ve probably heard of Vivrelle.

It’s been around for a long time, but I feel like it’s gotten a lot bigger lately. Today I thought I’d discuss what it costs, the brands they carry, and if it’s worth it.

TLDR version: I LOVE it, but it may not be for everyone. Let’s break it all down.

Vivrelle Review: Is It Worth It? (My Honest Thoughts + How It Works)

What is Vivrelle?

Vivrelle is a luxury service membership that gives you access to a shared closet of designer handbags, jewelry, watches, and more for a monthly fee.

Instead of buying a $2,500 bag, you can borrow it, wear it as long as you like, and then trade it in for something new.

It’s very similar to Rent the Runway, but for designer handbags and jewelry. (My full review of Rent the Runway Unlimited is here!)

How Vivrelle works

The process is actually quite simple:

Apply for membership (they do a quick approval process. It doesn’t take long, I promise)

Select your membership category

Browse their collection and select an item

Your item is shipped to your door (shipping and returns included)

Keep it as long as you like, then switch it to something new

There is also no hard deadline for returns. You can keep an item for a month or more if you like it.

If you really like something, you can buy it at a member’s discounted price, which is a huge advantage.

Vivrelle Membership Fees

Vivrelle has several price ranges depending on what level of comfort you want to reach.

The typical price looks like this:

Prime: about $45–$49/month (jewelry + select bags)

Classique: around $119–$139/month (bags up to ~$4,000 in value)

Couture: about $219–$239/month (high-end and rare pieces)

Couture+: around $309–$339/month (2 items at a time)

Each level opens up a different “cabinet”, and the higher you go, the more special the pieces are.

There is also a minimum commitment of 3 months, which is something to keep in mind.

Products Available at Vivrelle

This is one of the biggest selling points.

Vivrelle carries the true brands of luxury. These are not dupes or lookalikes. Everything is verified by their team or third party experts. Everything I found felt new. No signs of wear or use at all.

Some brands you’ll see include:

Chanel

Louis Vuitton

Gucci

Prada

Saint Laurent

Dior

Bottega Veneta

You can use this as a way to test drive bags before committing to a purchase, which I think is smart. There have been bags that I wanted to buy but I didn’t know how much I would love them for everyday use. This sealed the deal for me. (Reinforced the fact that yes, I really want a tan Chanel caviar bag. Pilot, are you reading?? Are you here?)

My Experience Using Vivrelle

For me, Vivrelle is one of those things that makes dressing up so much fun. And I think I have a problem. I like new things or things that are new to me. That’s why Rent the Runway and Vivrelle give me a big dopamine hit without spending thousands of dollars.

I like that I can change bags based on:

the season

to walk

events

state of mind

It’s also perfect if you don’t want to commit to one expensive bag or like variety without cluttering up your wardrobe.

And honestly, there’s something fun about carrying a bag that you wouldn’t normally buy, just to give it a lil’ test whirl.

Benefits of Vivrelle

The biggest benefit is access.

You can wear luxury pieces without spending thousands of dollars up front, which makes it feel more affordable.

Also:

A great way to try before you buy

Perfect for special events or trips

Regularly updated with new inventory

Includes free shipping and returns

It allows you to change things as often as you like

Many users also like the versatility and say it instantly elevates their everyday outfits.

Dangers of Vivrelle

As with anything, there are a few downsides to consider.

The biggest is the cost in the long run. Although the monthly fee is lower than buying the fund outright, it adds up if you stay subscribed for a long time.

Availability can also be an issue. Popular items go fast, so you may not always get your first choice. (Pro tip: I waitlist all my favorites so I’m notified when they’re back in stock.)

A few other things to keep in mind:

There is a membership commitment (typically 3 months)

You do not own the items (unless you purchase separately)

Inventory is subject to demand

Is Vivrelle Worth It?

This really depends on your lifestyle.

Vivrelle is 100% worth if:

You love designer handbags but don’t want to commit to buying them

You like to change your style often

You have events, tours, or content creation where resources are important

You want to test the funds before investing

It may not be suitable if:

You prefer to own and keep your own things

You rarely change bags

You are trying to reduce monthly expenses

Vivrelle is one of those services that feels very “extra”… but in the best way.

It makes luxury more accessible, adds variety to your wardrobe, and honestly makes getting dressed a lot more fun.

For me, it was worth the flexibility, the experience, and the ability to try on pieces I wouldn’t have bought otherwise.

If you’ve been curious, it’s definitely something fun to try, especially since you can test it out for a free month! (Note that they have a minimum commitment of 3 months.)

You can use the code GINAHARNEY for your first month for free.

I hope you like it as much as I do!
