Jimmy Kimmel committed to President Donald Trump and again – this time skipping the son Donald Trump Jr.the marriage of.
“DJTJ and his new bride, Bettinathey got married Saturday on a private island in the Bahamas. It was a small event with about 40 guests, none of whom were fathers,” Kimmel, 58, said angrily in his opening remarks on the Tuesday, May 26, episode Jimmy Kimmel Live!
Donald, 79, confirmed on Friday, May 22, that he will not be attending the event via Truth Social.
“Although I would very much like to be with my son, Don Jr., and the newest member of the Trump Family, his future wife, Bettina, the circumstances surrounding the Government, and my love for the United States of America, do not allow me to do so,” the president wrote. “I feel it is important that I stay in Washington, DC, at the White House during this important time. Congratulations to Don and Bettina!”
After reading Trump’s post, Kimmel laughed, “You see, he can be warm when he wants to be. He loves Don Jr. He loves the United States so much.”
“This is a guy who plays golf two, three times a week, he’s going to fight him in the UFC Vanilla Ice. He was very busy with his son’s wedding,” Kimmel continued.
Kimmel also photographed many of Donald’s weddings. The president married her Ivanka Trump from 1977 to 1990, Marla Maples from 1993 to 1999, and married his current wife, First Lady Melania Trumpin 2005.
The comedian joked, “But he said Don and Bettina would have a good marriage – and this is a man who knows a good marriage. He’s had three.”
“Poor Don Jr. Besides his father, they had to scramble to find someone else to do a 90-minute toast about windmills and gender-changing instruments,” he continued.
Kimmel then showed multiple headlines about Donald crashing a wedding reception at his members-only Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida, joking, “But the truth is, Donald Trump, he’s not just a guy who likes to go—oh, that’s okay.”
The comedian cited reports that Donald Jr., 48, and new wife Bettina Anderson, 39, will have another wedding reception at the White House, with Donald and Melania, 56, in attendance.
“You’d hope so. They live there,” Kimmel said slyly. “Can you imagine if they didn’t come to that place?

Donald Jr. was previously married to her Vanessa Trumpwith whom he shared five children: daughters Why19, and Chloe, 11, and sons Donald III, 17, Tristan, 14, and Spencer, 13.
