Taylor Frankie Paul’s Ex Tate Sues About Child Protection

Taylor Frankie Paul ex-husband, Father Paulasked police about getting a child protection order for their ex after his domestic violence arrest in 2023.
The audio and transcript of the call received by Us Weekly on Friday, March 27, Tate asked Utah police to clarify what legal protections are in place for her children following Taylor’s arrest.
In February 2023, Taylor was accused of assaulting her then-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen and throwing several chairs, one of which allegedly hit his daughter, Indy. The officer explained that there may be a preliminary “parole agreement,” meaning the suspect “was not allowed to have contact with potential victims for about a week, usually.”
He added that Tate was also able to file for a full protective order to protect her children, which is a long-term option.

He also asked the police to contact him directly about the case against Taylor’s mother Lianne May, who accused him of “training” his daughter following the argument.

In 2023, Taylor was initially charged with harassment, criminal mischief and domestic violence in the presence of a child following her altercation with Dakota. After Taylor agreed to plead guilty to aggravated assault, the other charges were dropped.
The case resurfaced earlier this month amid the release of cell phone footage of the 2023 Housewives, where Taylor was seen throwing chairs during an altercation with Dakota. A spokesperson for Taylor later suggested that the video was selectively edited.
“It’s heartbreaking to see the latest installment in his relentless, desperate, attention-seeking, and hurtful campaign to hurt Taylor without regard for the consequences to their child,” her spokesperson said.
