The exit of Angel, Alamo and Maddy

The third season of Euphoria is coming to an end – but viewers are still confused about many storylines including Alamo’s relationship with Maddy and Angel’s disappearance.
Based on the Israeli series of the same name, Euphoria follows troubled high school student Rue (Zendaya) as he struggles to stay sober after surgery. The series also explores topics including mental illness, toxic relationships, sexuality and more. After its premiere in 2019, the compilation of the show, which includes Hunter Schafer, Alexa Demie, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Maude Apatow, Colman Domingo soon rose to fame.
The HBO series was quickly renewed for a second season, but it took nearly three years for the episodes to air, with the network ordering two specials about the aftermath of Rue and Jules’ (Schafer) breakup during that time.
Euphoria’s third season originally aired on HBO in 2025 before facing several delays, including creator Sam Levinson’s commitment to his short-lived series Idol. The delay was extended during two strikes by the WGA and SAG-AFTRA, which took place in late 2023.
Since the end of season 2, the cast has been lost in time Angus Cloud died at age 25 in July 2023 following an accidental overdose. The show talks about the fate of his character, Fezco, in the season Eric Dane‘s Cal appeared in two episodes after the actor’s death following a battle with ALS. He was 53 years old.

The Disappearance of an Angel

Priscilla Delgado
Courtesy of HBOPriscilla Delgado is introduced as Angel, an outside dancer at the Silver Slippers strip club. He relapsed into drugs after his friend’s disappearance – viewers watched him die on screen. Angel was too strong and Rue was told to take her to rehab but the scene was saddened as fans asked if the actress would be seen again.
After the Alamo’s safe is robbed, Laurie’s people keep some of their finds. Rue gasped when she saw the identities – including Angel’s – there. While some audience members assumed it meant Angel was dead, others drew the obvious conclusion that Angel had been trafficked by the Alamo.
Alamo’s relationship with Maddy

Maddy (Demie) and Alamo (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje) formed a bond that turned sour when he had to beg for money when Cassie (Sweeney) found out that Nate (Elordi) only had 72 hours to live.
The scene then shows Alamo making Maddy wear a bathing suit so she can get in the hot tub with him. He finally agreed to help Maddy get the $1 million needed to save Nate and end the incident. Viewers, on the other hand, were wondering if this incident meant that Maddy had to sleep with Alamo to seal the deal, but that was not made clear.
DEI for Everything

While Rue acted as a reasonable double agent for the most part, there have been some questions about how federal officials were able to eavesdrop on Laurie and Alamo’s plans while he was away. Viewers asked if the authorities planted the wire without Rue or if he was involved – but it was not shown.
