Andy Cohen he shouted Lisa Rinna literally burning his memory The Daddy Diaries: My Growing Up Year in his hearth.
“He added so much that he burned the odd book,” Cohen, 57, said during an interview with Rinna, 62, on the Wednesday, February 25, episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.
The drama between the WWHL manager and Traitors star is backtracking on the publication of Cohen’s 2023 memoir, where he revealed that Rinna once texted him “after midnight saying she was leaving” The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in 2023. Cohen published that first text and a follow-up in which Rinna allegedly asked “is there a way forward” to move on RHOBH from one week later. (Rinna eventually left the Bravo series after season 12.)
In his new memoir You better believe I’m going to talk about itRinna confirmed that she was initially angry about Cohen publishing her late-night texts.
“When anyone lets you know they’re in their book, you know they’re happy,” Rinna wrote. He also included my personal messages. It was dark, so Andy, so Bravo, needless to say. After reading it, I got angry, threw his book into the fireplace and watched it burn happily.
As they end the controversy on Wednesday’s show of Watch What Happens LiveCohen confirmed that he apologized directly to Rinna when they recently met Traitors season 4 reunion. (Cohen host Traitors‘end-of-season cast reunion specials.)
“You write in a book about … my publishing a few messages that really upset you. Messages from you that I put in my book. Father’s Diaries he pissed you off so much that you burned my book in your fireplace,” explained Cohen.
He continued, “I apologize for publishing those texts. … I did that to myself and I didn’t like it. I had all these reasons to do it and when I really thought about it, I said, ‘Oh wait, I have to apologize.’ So, I’m sorry!”

Cohen’s biggest question was his own Father’s Diaries The book caught fire “easily” when Rinna threw it into the fireplace.
“It happened,” he insisted. “It was great watching your book go up in flames!
The two touch base again after Rinna’s controversial exit The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Cohen said it’s “very clear” to him that Rinna still has a “complicated relationship” with him and the Housewives franchise.
“What I noticed is that he showed me two important days in my life,” said Cohen.
I Watch What Happens Live host talked about Rinna’s amazing dance performance at her baby shower in 2019, in addition to giving a speech during her Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony in February 2022. Rinna assured Cohen, “It was my absolute pleasure.”
