Oscars 2026 Red Carpet: The Best Fashion from the Academy Awards

And just like that, awards season is coming to an end. It’s time for the 98th annual Academy Awards, the night that celebrates the best and brightest of the year in the film industry. It’s always a great night, one to remember, as Hollywood A-listers flock to the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles to witness cinema’s greatest achievements. Conan O’Brien is taking over hosting duties for the second year in a row, and tonight (Sunday, March 15), he will be joined on stage throughout the night by presenters including Adrien Brody, Anne Hathaway, Bill Pullman, Channing Tatum, Chris Evans, Chase Infiniti, Demi Moore, Delroy Lindo, Ewan McGregorde Kimmel, Grow Kieran Culkin, Kumail Nanjiani, Lewis Pullman, Maya Rudolph, Mikey Madison, Nicole Kidman, Pedro Pascal, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Paul Mescal, Robert Downey Jr., Rose Byrne, Sigourney Weaver, Wagner Moura, Will Arnett and Zoe Saldaña.

The 2026 Oscars feature a total of 24 categories, including a brand new category, for acting. They are sinners received the most nominations of the night—with a hefty 16—and made history as the most nominated film of all time at the Academy Awards, beating the previous record of 14 held by. La La Land, Titanic again All About Eve.

Before the stars, including nominees like Michael B. Jordan, Jessie Buckley, Timothée Chalamet, Jacob Elordi, Teyana Taylor, Kate Hudson and more, enter the ceremony, they will walk the red carpet in some of the most exciting dresses of the awards season. The past year has brought us some very well-dressed looks like Lupita Nyong’o in an ivory Chanel dress, Mike Madison in old Hollywood Dior, Chalamet in a butter yellow Givenchy leather suit, Ariana Grande in ballerina Schiaparelli and Colman Domingo in a red and black Valentino ensemble—and the 98th Academy is sure to be.
