Yellowstone again The Marshals star Luke Grimes he left Hollywood behind and moved to Montana – and he doesn’t get a warm welcome from the locals.
“Yeah, and they’re not happy about it,” Grimes, 42, said Joe Rogan Friday, March 13, episode of his podcast “The Joe Rogan Experience”. “In the village where I live, we had some people visit us. Our friends from California drove out, and we walked, and we were in their car. And they had, you know, Cali plates.”
He went on to say, “When we got off where we were going, someone had written ‘go back’ in the dirt on his car, as if people are getting weird about it, I don’t tell anyone where I really am because they would be very upset with me.”
The singer-turned-actress revealed in February that he and his wife Bianca Rodrigues Grimes he had decided to leave Los Angeles for the Big Sky State. (The two have one son, Rigel Randolph Grimes.)
“I used to go up there for three or four months of the year, and whenever we finished filming, and I came back here, it was like I was leaving home rather than coming home,” said the actor. Fox News Digital at that time. “It was a gradual shift over the course of a few years and then, yes, my wife and I just fell in love and decided to live here.”

“I can’t go to bars anymore because whatever that one idiot is, he’s in that bar, and he can’t wait to start fighting me,” explained Rogan, 58. “Just, like, I can’t wait to do it because, it’s like a win-win for him, you know? He gets to sue me or something. I don’t know about me, but I lost.”
Her decision to leave Hollywood behind isn’t the only thing Grimes has been defending of late. In February, the actress addressed criticism that her Yellowstone co-star Kayce Dutton was inappropriate for her appearance, The Marshals.

“I’m my own worst critic,” Grimes said Entertainment Weekly at that time. “I was like, ‘If you take a poll of who people want to have a spinoff, I don’t know if Kayce would be at the top. I think there are other characters they’d rather see.’
The player continued, “So there was a fire under me. Like, it’s got to be a god. If it’s not right, I’d rather not do it. We tried really hard to make sure that any of the original fans of Yellowstone would have something to hold on to.”
