Democratic candidate Jack Schlossberg defended his targeting of Vice President JD Vance’s wife on “CBS News Sunday Morning.”

Schlossberg, the grandson of the late former President John F. Kennedy, was asked by CBS about his posts on social media that were described as “horrifying” and abusive, especially about Vance’s wife Usha. In another post, Schlossberg highlighted her face on one of Usha Vance’s children.

However, he denied that he was “crossing the line” by including the wife of the Vice President.

“I think what crosses the line is the propaganda that we see being put out every day by the White House and Vance,” Schlossberg responded. “What are we going to do then, hold back? Shall we hold ourselves in our jokes and not make fun of them, make fun of them?”

He added, “First of all, I don’t think anyone seriously thought I meant that we really had a love child! You can point to anything I posted, I’ll take you back to the president sharing pictures of himself blowing up US citizens with feces. This is a new era we live in.”
