Summer House star KJ Dillard I can’t blame a former friend West Wilsonhis behavior as the collapse of his relationship with Amanda Batula it continues.
“I know people make mistakes. I’m a person who gives grace, trust me,” KJ, 28, said during an appearance Tuesday, June 2, on the “More Life With Carl Radke” podcast. “I have made many mistakes, and people have shown me kindness, but it seems that he does not learn from his mistakes.”
Freshman Bravo continued, “I keep seeing things and hearing things. I’m just like, ‘Dude, what’s going on? Are you really sorry?'”
KJ even compared West, 31, to his father. (KJ revealed in time Summer House season 10 that he has a difficult relationship with his father.)
“My father apologized to me and said, ‘I will do this, I will be better.’ After that, it continues to repeat these cycles,” KJ continued. It’s like, ‘What’s going on?’
KJ noted that she has a “wishy-washy” relationship with the men in her life, which is why she is joining Summer House allowed him to find a group of new friends. However, the game of Amanda, 34, and the West “hurt” him a lot.
“I’m like, ‘Bro, you lied to all of our faces,'” KJ said. “I know he’s got his life and he can do whatever he wants, but it’s just like, man, it’s just disappointing.”
West and Amanda confirmed in late March that they were dating after weeks of rumors. Amanda was previously married to her partner Summer House star Kyle Cooke and West dated her best friend Ciara Miller in 2023.

For KJ, the drama was especially difficult because she was friends with West before joining the house. He also developed a close friendship with Ciara while they were filming season 10.
“He didn’t show a lot of emotion,” KJ said of West when reflecting on the reunion. KJ also noted that West “didn’t defend” Amanda at all.
KJ has opened up about the fact that West hasn’t reached out to her about Amanda’s relationship drama. During the May 6 episode Watch What Happens Live With Andy CohenKJ revealed that West had reached the end. KJ ended up reading the script on a talk show.
“I read his message Watch What Happens Liveand a lot of people were like, ‘KJ is doing this for clout.’ I’m like, no, I didn’t read that. I was scared inside because I didn’t know what it was going to say,” explained KJ on Tuesday. I skimmed it a little, and then I read it and it was a closure for me. But I don’t know when I will talk to West again. If I talk to him again.”
