Dennis Quaid’s Costar Is Glad He Slapped Him Amid His Trump Support

Dennis Quaid‘s Any Given Sunday the costar Lauren Holly He accused the actor of supporting the President Donald Trump.

Another user posted a photo of Quaid saying he “loves Donald Trump” at a Texas event on Friday, with Holly crying: “It’s crazy to me right now.”

As her post began to increase, a Threads user wrote: “Watching @laurenholly’s comments on all of Dennis Quiad’s (SIC) comments is high @threads energy. Make fascists uncomfortable by any means…”

Quaid has been open about his political support and personal affection for Trump over the past few years. He told Piers Morgan Uncensored in 2024 that “the only thing I liked about Trump was everything he did” as president.

“People may call him an a-hole, but he’s my a**hole,” Quaid said at the time.

He praised Trump for his approachability, calling the politician “humane, incredibly funny, a great listener and incredibly approachable.”

“[Trump is] very funny. And really real. He would not be the president if he is not an honest person,” emphasized Quaid.

The Quaid is especially open to Us Weekly about his faith earlier this month, saying that religion played a big role in uniting him with his fourth wife, Laura Savoie.
