Days of Our Lives SHOCKER: Stephanie and Jeremy Both Kidnapped in Double Kidnapping Plot?!

Days of Our Lives reveals that the Salem Police Department has an APB on Jeremy Horton (Michael Roark) for kidnapping Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein). But the thing is that Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) has confirmed that both their phones are blocked, and there are other signs that Jeremy could be a victim along with Stephanie.

Now, Rafe didn’t confirm that he might be the victim, but Rafe said it was like they both just disappeared. So we’ll talk about that. I’ll tell you why I’m more and more convinced that Days is deceiving and misleading viewers. There’s a lot to take from Jeremy’s messy situation. Let’s get to it.

Is Jeremy Horton Set to Kidnap Stephanie Johnson on Days of Our Lives?

I have said here all along that Jeremy did not follow and would not be Stephanie’s kidnapper. Whenever the police focus on one person and never consider other possible suspects, that’s when they miss things. If you watch true crime shows, you know.

And that’s what happened here. Stephanie decided that she was so amazing that Jeremy still had to consider her. And that was reinforced when Stephanie had that nightmare where Jeremy said he loved her and came back to Salem just for her.

It was the most egotistical nightmare I could imagine—like I was so beautiful, everyone was obsessed with me. And then Stephanie woke up after a nightmare of Jeremy shooting Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson).

Identifying the Real DOOL Criminal and Criminals for Hire in Salem

Because if you haven’t figured it out by now, it’s not Jeremy who causes the kidnapping. The one who took Stephanie was someone else. Someone I think was paid to take him—a servant or a hired thug. The actor’s name is Dan Coons.

Therefore, they are not both, not intending to be either. Not like a body double or anything. Meanwhile, I suspect that Jeremy may have been abducted along with Stephanie—in front of her, in fact.

And of the two, Jeremy may be more vulnerable than Stephanie. And I’ll tell you why. Because the real kidnapper is Owen Kent (Wes Ramsey), Stephanie’s famous past, who was obsessed with her, and still is. So, maybe Stephanie isn’t that arrogant. Maybe every guy she’s ever dated still wants her.

Flawed Evidence Against Jeremy Horton in Stalking Case on Dates

But it’s possible that Owen might just be Jeremy, but because he physically hurt Stephanie when they were together, Owen might want to punish Jeremy again for hurting the woman he loves so much.

Until now, it was one thing after another that made Alex, Stephanie, Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu), and Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) convinced that Jeremy was stalking Stephanie. And now they think they have this smoking gun.

Jada also watched the Horton Town Square Halloween video and decided it was enough to arrest Jeremy because a man in a mask and mad scientist costume pulled a knife on an unsuspecting Alex. A slap on the thigh saved him from being stabbed.

They even show a small still image of the video to Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes), who is now absolutely convinced that the masked boy—whose face you can’t see and you can’t see anything about him except his dress—is really Jeremy. And that means you are a trapper and a captor.

Leaping to Conclusions: Alex and Jada’s Olympic-Level Projections

What’s even crazier is that when Alex realizes that EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) didn’t send that photo frame to them, he immediately decides it’s a mistake. If pole vaulting were an Olympic sport, Alex and Jada would both have gold medals at this point. I think Steve and Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) might have a copper.

When Stephanie was kidnapped, at the same time the police went to arrest Jeremy at the elementary school and couldn’t find him. She was full, Julie said, and she was planning to leave Salem right after school that day to drive to New York to be with her father, Mike Horton (Roark Critchlow).

And whatever else you think of Jeremy, I doubt he’d go out and leave a room full of fifth graders alone all day, especially with little mischievous Rachel Black (Alice Halsey) in the room. You know better. He cannot be unsupervised.

Theory of Jeremy Horton’s Abduction from Salem Elementary on DOOL

The school told the police that he apologized and went to the toilet and never came back. Therefore, Jada suspects that she got out of the bathroom window and fled on foot because her car is still in the area.

I have a feeling Jeremy was somehow lured out of class by Owen or a thug and drugged. They used the same drug they used on the police. They could have shoved Jeremy into one of those big rolling bins like custodians have in schools.

Just turn him back, throw him in the van, and he’s gone. That would be the perfect strategy for Owen to kill two birds with one stone. That way, Jeremy is implicated in the kidnapping, he has no alibi, and Owen can punish him. And then you still have Stephanie free and clear because no one wants her.

The Mystery of the Black Hoodie and the Silicon Mask in Days of Our Lives

Currently, Days has fans imagining Jeremy roaming the streets of Salem in a black hoodie with Stephanie’s phone in his hand. But I’m sure Jeremy is tied up somewhere like Stephanie. And that’s Owen in Jeremy’s mask. Appropriately, the characters are roughly the same height and build.

Not what is important in the world Days of Our Lives and silicon masks. They will slap them on anyone and people rarely realize it’s not anyone else. Abigail Deveraux (AnnaLynne McCord) is one of the few examples where she found out that Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) was wearing Sarah Horton’s (Linsey Godfrey) mask and slapped her.

Also, Rafe said the drug used to knock out the cop is something that can’t be sold in the US. And Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) immediately said, “Now, how does this elementary school teacher find out?” Of course. Thank you, Cat. He thinks like a person who is investigating.

History of Owen Kent and the DiMera Family and Dr. Rolf on dates

So, Owen Kent worked for the DiMera’s. And I’m sure they’re the ones who got him out of prison transport years ago. So, he could get a mask from Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) or some other shady source. Owen may have been hiding in Europe this whole time because of the DiMeras.

So, he could come back with an agenda to find Stephanie, punish Jeremy. And he set her up so that Owen would break up with Stephanie and no one would be the wiser. If you remember yours Days story, Stephanie dated Jeremy back in 2007 and they had a toxic and abusive relationship.

Then in 2009, that’s when Stephanie was kidnapped by Owen. He worked as a handyman/gardener for the Kiriakises and got wrapped up in the DiMera vs. Kiriakis feud. EJ kidnapped Owen Stephanie as a hand against her then-boyfriend Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier).

Owen Kent’s Obsession and Future Reveals

After kidnapping Stephanie, we ended up keeping Owen in the basement and in the cold for a while. That’s nice. And during the captivity while he was holding her, Owen became attached to Stephanie and this turned into a complete obsession. Owen was loved in the wrong way. And then Stephanie, of course, is horrified by Owen’s increasingly erratic behavior.

So, he may have ditched Jeremy this time to come clean with Stephanie. And no one would have any idea that Owen stole her. And if Stephanie never shows up and Jeremy never shows up, he can get away with kidnapping and murder.

So, after months of Stephanie thinking Jeremy did it, I’m looking forward to her reaction when she sees Jeremy is also a victim of kidnapping. And what would be the final slap in the face to Alex and Stephanie for their thinking is if it turns out that Jeremy actually saved Stephanie, which I think he would.

Marlena Evans as the Voice of Reason for the Horton Family on DOOL

I think it won’t be long before Steve grabs the guy in the black hoodie, sure he’s grabbing Jeremy, only to realize it’s Owen. Also, this week, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) is kind of a voice of reason, telling Kayla that Jeremy doesn’t fit the profile of someone who would kidnap Stephanie.

I don’t know if Kayla will listen and think they should cast a wider net or continue to think it’s Jeremy. Since he came back to apologize to Stephanie, Jeremy said he has worked hard to get rid of his anger problems, and he got a teaching degree. And you make a difference in children’s lives.

His disciples loved him very much. Stephanie who was jumping around didn’t believe him, she didn’t believe anything he said. And Jeremy’s past also remained the same.

Clearing Jeremy Horton’s Name and What to Expect Next on Days of Our Lives

So Steve, Kayla, Alex, Jada—they’re all judging her based on this and all these years of work she’s put into herself. None of this matters. And in the end, I think Jeremy’s accusers will have to swallow their pride.

I think if Stephanie is saved, they will have to apologize to Jeremy for ruining her life and reputation by being innocent all this time. We’ll know more when Owen comes out on Friday. Wait to see if he has Jeremy’s mask on his face or maybe in his back pocket.
