Back on stage, Craig confronted his clients about his drunken beating in Mexico at the end of the season.
“God, this f***ing game man, maybe this isn’t for me,” Craig admitted after being told by most of his clients that his anger was the problem, not his drinking. “Maybe I shouldn’t be here.”
Craig, who was part of the team Southern Charm released since it was first played in 2013, commented, “I’d like to find a way to enjoy this again and not feel like I’m living forever [against everyone] even if it’s in my head.”
Craig’s revelation came after he recalled a trip the cast members took to Mexico, where he was left screaming Sally Carson for allegedly interfering in her life – and ruining her budding romance with Charlie Manley. He also continued Venita Aspen by putting his nose in his nose Austen Krollproblems.
“I was just sick of meddling. … I was like, I’m pissed off at everybody getting involved in my business,” Craig admitted of his attitude during that gate.
When asked why he bombed Salley, 31, Craig commented, “I wasn’t in my right mind,” pointing out that his drinking was what caused him to run away.
“You still have to answer for your anger,” said Salley, while Rodrigo Reyes compared Craig’s actions to a “f***ing” tornado.
“That was a mental break,” added Austen, 38, noting that she watched the whole thing unfold.
Craig explained that he was so drunk that he didn’t really know what was going on, which worried him. “It scares the *** out of you,” he admitted.

“If I hadn’t been drinking it wouldn’t have happened,” said Craig, saying he didn’t eat much that day and didn’t have water between drinks.
However, Rodrigo admitted, “I think the anger is more than the alcohol issue.” Salley agreed, adding, “I really don’t think it’s your drinking.”
“I didn’t realize I just bottled everything,” Craig finally told his cost, revealing that it didn’t register that he might be angry. “And when you get out of control there’s no more bottlenecking and it comes out in a scary way.”
Craig recalled that he felt “rejected” by Charley, 28, who began to distance himself from him during the Mexican vacation and “blamed the situation” for the environment and then “freaked out.”
When asked what was next for him, Craig said he planned to “redirect” the topic of conversation during his therapy sessions.
“I was always thinking ‘If I hadn’t been drinking it wouldn’t have been a problem,'” reveals Craig, confirming that he now realizes that anger may have been a major factor behind his change.
Craig concluded by saying, “I’m obviously sorry” to the entire cast. “I will try my best to ensure that it does not happen again,” he added.
