“They are going strong and very happy. Lewis is facing a crisis and those close to him believe he has finally met his match,” said the source. Us Weekly. “He’s been waiting ten years for his dream girl and he’s crazy about her.”
The insider added that Hamilton, 41, has been “FaceTiming” Kardashian, 45, “usually from the bathroom.” Although they can’t be together in person as much as they like, Kardashian has been “incredibly supportive” of Hamilton’s “demanding F1” schedule.
“Both are very determined to make things work regardless of the distance or how busy they are,” said the source. “Because their relationship started as a friendship first, those closest to them believe this could be the end for both of them.”
Kardashian and Hamilton have known each other for a long time, as the two have been spotted together at numerous events and functions since 2014. However, things seem to have changed earlier this year after they were seen spending time at Estelle Manor in Oxfordshire, England.
Amidst possible dating rumors, Kardashian opened up about her struggles dating a single mom. (The Kardashians star shares four children, North, 12, Saint, 10, Chicago, 8, and Ndumiso, 6, with ex-husband Kanye West.)
“I feel like my kids need me. It’s really hard when I have to put them to bed every night. I wake them up. I take them to school. I get them ready. They sleep in my bed,” Kim explained in her sister’s January episode. Khloé Kardashian‘s “Khloé in Wonderland” podcast. “I haven’t had time yet [to date] – and I’m fine with that. I thought, ‘You know what? I will be studying. I won’t have time. When I’m done I’ll open myself up.’ I opened them. But, I haven’t found anyone yet. And that’s okay.”
Shortly after his comments about stopping dating, Kim and Hamilton were spotted together at a hotel in Paris at Super Bowl LX. At the time, an insider told Us that the two left “for a few days” but things were just “normal.”
Earlier this month, Hamilton and Kim took a getaway to Arizona. An additional source is specifically stated Us that the two “had a break in their schedules” and wanted to “spend more time together and really get to know each other.”
“It’s going well, and Kim has been really enjoying her time with Lewis,” the insider explained, noting that they were “taking it easy”.
The source added that while Hamilton has yet to meet Kim’s children, the Skims founder is “open” to the idea.
“Lewis is a great guy and he’s been dating her and treating her well. He’s been making all the plans and making sure she’s taken care of,” the insider continued. “Everyone around her thinks it’s really nice and what she deserves. Kim has a relaxed aura lately in all aspects of her life. Her way of thinking has completely changed. She doesn’t force anything, she lets it happen naturally.
