“I had never watched Blue Bloods before joining Boston Blue, but I heard a ton about it from my relatives. It’s been a cultural trend for years and years. I – of course – had heard about the show, and then I started diving into it,” said Scribner. “Then getting to know Donnie even more — and seeing how different he is from Danny Reagan — is crazy.”

He continued: “Taking some of those elements from Danny Reagan, I was trying to put them into my character, Jonah Silver, who is so hot as Danny. He goes against what he thinks is right, which has been really fun.”

Joining i Blue Blood universe – and introducing the Silver family – allowed Scribner to push himself as an actor.

“It’s been a lot of fun. I’ve just rediscovered myself as an actor. I feel like for a while I was trying to push myself aside and do something different,” she told us. “But it’s been a lot of fun settling into this atmosphere.”

Scribner credited his Boston Blue costars for encouraging him, sharing, “Acting is amazing because it’s so accepting. So being on the show and being around these amazing actors is great because you don’t have to do any work. I just listen to them, and it really creates this feeling in you and you just get to respond.”

He concluded: “It’s a lot of fun. It’s been really challenging and cool to do a lot of physical stunts and all that stuff. I’ve been involved in car chases lately – explosions – and all this crazy stuff. So it’s been really cool.”
