Andy Cohen Shares What Housewives Find Hard After Filming

Andy Cohen describes one big pitfall of many Real Housewives the stars find themselves inside after filming has wrapped.
The executive producer of the franchise has given his wisdom to the celebrities of the new iteration, The Real Housewives of Rhode IslandThursday, March 2, episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.
During the segment, Cohen revealed that many housewives find themselves dominating the drama after watching the show, despite having previously resolved their issues with their partners.
“As this season plays out, you will hear a lot of confessions from other women. Try to stay where you are now,” said Cohen, 57, advising the ladies.
He continued, “This is something that a lot of real estate veterans are having a hard time with. This is a really hard thing. Just try to live in the moment we’re in, April of 2026.”
“But keep the list, and we’ll let you know when we meet,” he gave his advice sternly.
Cohen shared some sage advice for new wives: Alicia Carmody, Rosie DiMare, Ashley Iconetti, Liz McGraw, Rulla Nehme Pontarelli, Kelsey Swanson again Jo-Ellen Tiberi. (The Real Housewives of New Jersey‘s Dolores Catania and appears in the first season as the women’s “friend”.)
“Don’t believe what is said. Social media is not true,” he said. “It’s never as good or as bad as it sounds online.”
Cohen continued, “Next, we love you for who you are and how you are. Don’t change. We’re casting you for a reason. Don’t change. Keep yourselves.”
“And don’t forget, as a Real Housewife, you’re part of a select few. Enjoy the ride,” she said. “There are less than 200 Real Women who have ever existed. You are all world famous. You have been chosen. Enjoy this.”
Cohen offered the women one final piece of advice, laughing, “Maybe don’t start a podcast.”
The Real Housewives of Rhode Island premiered on Bravo on Thursday. Actors recently praised Housewives veteran Dolores, 55, for helping them adapt to life in front of the cameras.

“I think it’s Dolores [is] like a mama bear,” said Jo-Ellen exclusively Us Weekly recently. “In fact, whatever we needed – until today – he would help.”
Jo-Ellen added, “He was kind and smart and caring. So it was really nice. It was a little cheat sheet to help us along the way.”
“When Dolores and I first met, we fell apart completely. We saw each other. I felt her true spirit,” added another newcomer, Rulla. “I love Dolores. I really do. I feel like she brought a lot to the table. She was an honest person. She was very honest, speaking from her own experience.”
New episodes of The Real Housewives of Rhode Island airs Sundays at 9 pm ET on Bravo and airs the next day on Peacock.
