West Wilson Says It’s ‘Scary’ To Go Public After Scandal

West Wilson revealed that he and Amanda Batula “do our best” to have a normal relationship between Summer House drama.
“Going public is scary,” West, 31, admitted during the Monday, May 25, episode of his “Show Me Something” podcast. “There were a lot of f***ing stupid posts on the internet. When it came to AI and s***, I said, ‘Okay, let’s talk about this.'”
West addressed rumors that Amanda, 34, “wears all my clothes.” She went through each item, shutting down speculation that Amanda had it on in a striped Western shirt in one now risqué photo.
“People wear striped shirts,” he said. People just post whatever, and it works, a lot of people were like, ‘She always wears your clothes. We actually dress the same.”
West also denied internet speculation that Amanda was wearing wigs during their public outing.
Amanda and West confirmed in late March that they are more than friends after weeks of rumors. Their budding romance takes place after Amanda breaks up with her partner Summer House star Kyle Cooke. Amanda was also a good friend Ciara Millerwho came out of the West in 2023.
During Monday’s podcast, West also denied posting on social media that he was discussing getting a Tom Sandoval the arc of redemption goes forward.
“Knowing all my friends that I talk to on the team, they don’t know who Tom Sandoval is,” he said. “That’s not what we’re talking about in our f***ing team text.”
West added, “It’s not that crazy, it’s like, somebody pretended to be in a group chat with me.”
West also spoke about the rumors that he is connected to The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum Jenn Fesslerwhich went viral earlier this month after Ciara revealed the allegations on social media.
“Jenn was upset. Jenn made a video saying, ‘West is so nice. He’s not trying to hurt anybody, blah blah blah blah blah blah,'” he said. “I don’t think so [Ciara would] correct it, but I’m sure you believe it. It’s crazy to just post.”
Jenn has continued to vehemently deny that anything happened between her and West.
“So deep down, and while I can’t help but be a little flattered, it’s not good and it’s not fair to post something that’s untrue and blatantly defamatory on social media,” he shared on Instagram on May 9. “Regardless of what rumors or ‘evidence’ led you to that conclusion, that’s the definition of defamation.”
