“We were devastated to read the news about Mary Cosby’s son Robert and I can’t think of anything worse than losing a child again in this way,” Cohen said on Wednesday’s episode of SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live. “[Cohost] John [Hill], You and I have talked a lot on this show about addiction and the heartache that comes with it and I love Mary so much.”
Cohen shared that he spoke with Mary “for a while” on Tuesday, February 24 – one day after Robert Jr.’s death, noting that this is “every parent’s worst nightmare.”
“You and I have talked about this as well, about how much respect we had for the way he spoke to Robert when we saw them talking about this in the air and what I liked the most was that he met him where he was in a way, and he guided him well or guided him,” said Cohen.

TMZ reported on Wednesday that Robert Jr. died in Utah on Monday, February 23, following a possible overdose. His official cause of death has not yet been confirmed. He was 23 years old.
According to the source, the police responded to the call on Monday for a “full arrest” and “emergency”. After firefighters and paramedics arrived at the scene, authorities began an investigation into the death.

Then I started doing Xanax with Acid and then I followed Molly with Xanax. I really like Xanax so I mix it with everything. Xanax and cocaine.”
He added, “You know the regular 30mg Oxys? I noticed … this was, like, a turning point for me. I was taking 10 at a time and I couldn’t even feel it.”
Mary grew emotional as her son talked to her about his battle with addiction. In a confession, he said he was “disappointed” in himself.
“I feel like I let him down somewhere,” he continued, explaining that he thought Robert Jr. he only used marijuana. “I trusted him in my mind, I thought that’s when he would stop, I was wrong.
At that time, Robert Jr. he also told Mary that he “wanted to die” at one point and it was “the only reason” he didn’t kill himself.
