Alix Earle he is deep in his feelings after breaking up with his ex Braxton Berrios for the first time since they broke up – and trying to console themselves with it Taylor Swift music.
Earle, 25, first opened up about seeing Berrios, 30, for the first time since their split on Wednesday, February 25, when he shared on TikTok that it was “really hard.” He referred to his sighting of Berrios as “really strange.”
“I was really upset the first night,” he said. “We were in the same place, but we didn’t say ‘hello’ to each other, just because I didn’t want to, like go up and annoy him, I don’t know.”
Earle finally “briefly” went up to talk to Berrios, adding, “It’s weird when you go from somebody, like your best friend to being a stranger in the corner of the room. So that was tough — and even tough, it’s awful.”
In the comments section, a fan compared the interaction to Swift’s 2017 single “New Year’s Day” from her album. Reputation. Earle responded with a video on Sunday, March 1, in which he cried after listening to the song for the first time.
“I didn’t know that song, so I just looked it up guys, what does the H mean?” he said. “I’m purple from crying. I look like Barney.”
Earle added a caption to the video, which read, “‘Alix Earle hasn’t posted much.’ Maybe bc I’m the one who goes around every night. “
Us Weekly it was reported in December 2025 that Earle and Berrios had split after two years of dating.
“[The] most of their relationships were distant and it was difficult for them to walk the path,” he told us exclusively at the time. “They agreed to part ways.”
The promoter broke her silence on the breakup in an Instagram video, telling her fans, “Braxton and I are no longer together. We’ve been going a long way since, actually, June and we don’t have to see each other that often anymore. It’s been really hard for me.”
Earle noted that competition in the Dancing with the Stars in Los Angeles “really inspired him,” which made him consider moving. (Berrios did not attend any of these games DWTS live shows because of his football program.)

“I think it was a scary thing for me to see because it meant that we are not in the same place,” he continued. “Part of me also wants to focus on me right now. I feel like I can’t be what Braxton needs. I want him to have someone who can be there for him 24/7 and support him. He didn’t expect that from me … I always felt guilty.”
Earle went on to say that he and Berrios are “on two different paths.”
“We get along and I don’t want anyone to pick him up or treat him badly,” he concluded. “I think in the end I just wanted to go and trust my feelings. This was really hard. … it’s not a game. It’s not that he did something wrong or I did something wrong. It just seemed like it was right, at the moment.”
After their breakup, Earle is linked with her Tom Brady after they were spotted at a night club in St. Bart’s on New Year’s Eve. A source told us last month that Earle and Brady, 48, “are hooking up, but it’s not good.”
