Andy Cohen Responds to Joe Rogan Endorsing Spencer Pratt

Andy Cohen addressed Joe RoganSupport for Spencer Pratt running for mayor of Los Angeles – and he didn’t hold back.

“If anyone deserves to be mayor of LA,” Cohen, 57, began when asked to give his opinion on Pratt’s campaign for public office on the Tuesday, April 21, episode of the convention. Watch What Happens Live after the show.

Kristin Cavallari, who was a guest on the show that night, jumped in and said, “Absolutely. I was shocked, obviously. But if you really listen to him, he knows his stuff. He speaks very well. Yes, Brody [Jenner] he will praise him, that is his best friend.”

He continued: “Unless you live in LA, it’s hard to imagine, these people lost their homes. [in the wildfires]they have lost everything and people are being evicted and I have sympathy [for] see. I’m all for it and I could honestly see him winning. The people of California are very happy for him.”

Cohen said “it looks like he’s going to win,” adding his opponent Karen Bass he didn’t have the same “motivation” because he doesn’t have “many people” representing him publicly. Cavallari admitted naming Rogan, 58, as one of the people who recently “endorsed” Pratt, 42.

“Oh, Rogan, the greatest mind of the universe,” Cohen responded. “Joe f***ing Rogan. What an af***ing idiot. Sorry.”

Cohen joked about his upset that he was “drinking enough” to have “another Blasio moment,” referring to his live chat with former New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio on New Year’s Eve years ago.

“I listen to what he says, that’s all,” Cohen added when asked if there was something behind his dislike of Rogan. “I listen to what he says, I make my own opinion.”

Earlier this month, Rogan showed his support for Pratt’s mayoral bid during his podcast, quipping, “Listen, man, I’m voting for you.”

The controversial podcast host, who moved from California to Texas in 2020, then clarified that he could not vote for Pratt because he does not live in the state. “But I’m serious about you,” he said. “I mean, if I lived in Los Angeles, no question, I would vote.”

Pratt later took to Facebook to share a photo with Rogan, writing, “An honor being on with the GOAT, @joerogan. My goal is to make LA great, we can win him back to Texas.”
