Helena Riley’s GoFundMe Raises $12,000 After Back Break

Social media influencer Helena Riley raised more than $12,000 in crowdfunding after announcing that he had broken his back.
Speaking to X to share her GoFundMe page on Tuesday, March 24, Riley, a Los Angeles-based star who boasts over 146,000 followers on X alone, wrote, “Hiiiii guysss I broke my back and it sucks. Here’s my gofundme. Love u!”
After setting his donation request at $14,000, Riley had raised $12,210 from 374 donations at press time. He launched the page just one day before.
The description of the page gave fans details about Riley’s health problem. “Hiiiiii <3 I broke my back, it's not a good story, I just fainted at home because of a health problem I had nothing to do with, I fell on my back and broke my spine. Bummerrrrrrrrr.
The post continued, “It’s a long road to recovery and an expensive process. My insurance is REALLY struggling. Unfortunately, I’m not in a financial position where I can bleed tens of thousands of dollars without it ruining my life. So I’m asking for help. Thank you so much <3."
A photo slideshow on the page also explained that the fundraiser would contribute to “medical bills, lost wages, surgeries and rehabilitation,” while another photo showed Riley taking a selfie in the bathroom mirror with a brace wrapped around her body.
While Riley’s other social media accounts – including Instagram and OnlyFans where she famously posts selfies eating candy – have attracted significant fan counts, her posts about X have undoubtedly earned her the most love. During the interview no iD Magazine in 2023, the promoter said that his follow X surprised him. “It’s strange because I’m known, but I’ve never done anything, I don’t do anything,” he said frankly at the time.
Riley joins a long list of celebrities who have turned to GoFundMe in an effort to raise money in times of need. Just one day earlier, a GoFundMe was launched to support the NHL reporter’s family Jesse Pierce who died in a house fire. His three children and the family’s dog died in this incident.
Furthermore, on February 21, Rebecca Gayheart friends of her late estranged husband, Eric Danelaunched a GoFundMe to raise money for his family’s housing and education. At press time, $490,000 of the $500,000 goal had been reached.
