Nicole Young Walks Out of Selling Sunset Over ‘Toxic’ Situation

Nicole Young which separates from it Selling Sunset after four seasons of the Netflix series.

His representative confirmed that People On Friday, March 20, when the real estate agent, 40, left the reality show because of his “disappointing” portrayal.

“Nicole was constantly put in situations that required her to constantly defend herself, often in what could be described as unnecessarily toxic and over-the-top situations,” her attorney said, adding that Nicole often defended her “personality and her goals.”

“He felt like he was no longer being represented,” the spokesperson added. “[It is] absolutely Nicole’s decision to leave the show in season 9.”

Her rep also confirmed that Nicole’s recent move to Nashville had nothing to do with her decision to leave the show but noted that it “means the end of her time” Selling Sunset.

In a further statement to Us WeeklyYoung shared of his exit, “I absolutely love life in Nashville and couldn’t be more excited about this new chapter. I’m so grateful for my time Selling Sunset and everything it brought to my life, but it was the right time to close that door. I am excited for the future, this is not the last you will see from me.”

This past season, fans got an inside look at his feud with Chrisshell Stausewhich started when Nicole joined the show in season 6. Nicole accused Chrishell, 44, of only getting a list of houses because she is their manager. Jason Oppenheim he had feelings for her.

Chrishell, who briefly dated Jason in 2021, denied Nicole’s claims and alleged that he was on drugs during a group dinner, which Nicole also denied. Chrishell later tried to patch things up, but Nicole refused to apologize for her past words.

In season 7, Nicole revealed the rumors that Emma Hernan she is said to have slept with a married man. Chrishell then no longer wanted to work with Nicole, which led to her screen time being put on hold.

“I got a call from the producers two days ago when they told me that I haven’t been fired at all from acting but they chose to stop my recording schedule until next week to protect me from controversial situations,” said Nicole. Us Weekly in the January 2025 statement.

The two reunited during the season 7 reunion, when Chrishell told Nicole that she “hated” him. Nicole later took to social media to say she “apologised” to Chrishell, but said it was not broadcast.

When season 8 started, Chrishell shared on Instagram that she would “never” work with Nicole again. The two played in season 9 but continued to butt heads.

Chrishell, meanwhile, announced her exit from the show in November 2025.
