Real Housewives of Miami Canceled by Bravo After 7 Seasons

The Real Housewives of Miami it was stopped for the second time in its history.
The source confirmed that Us Weekly on Wednesday, March 18, that Bravo is not moving forward with an eighth season RHOM at this time. The latest seventh season wrapped up in October 2025 with a shocking three-part reunion where “friend of the housewives” Adriana de Moura case costar Julia Lemigova cheating on his wife, Martina Navratilova“and a dead Haitian.” (Lemigova, 53, later admitted that she had already told Navratilova, 53, about having a “certain situation” before the Season 7 reunion.)
Us Bravo has been contacted for comment.
The Real Housewives of Miami was put on hiatus after the conclusion of its third season in 2013. The peacock has been renewed RHOM for season 4 in 2021 before the series moves to Bravo for its latest two installments.
Bravo’s decision to cancel the original series comes two weeks later Andy Cohen talked about the future of the franchise on Radio Andy.
“I love it Miami,” Cohen, 57, insisted in February. You have to remember! We have… nine Housewives you go there now, so what you don’t want is something that stays on the shelf for a long time.”
I Real Housewives the executive producer continued, “I always think there’s value in waiting. If there’s no rush to get it on the air, I always think there’s value in waiting, and then when it comes back, everybody’s like, ‘Oh my god! What a big deal at the end.’
Cohen suggested at the time that Miami may have the same trajectory as The Real Housewives of New York Citywho was temporarily benched while Bravo cast new actors. (Recording resumes RHONY earlier this month with famous actors Sai De Silva, Erin Lichy again Thanks Jesseland newcomers Hailey Glassman, Erika Hammond again Daisy Toy and the return of Carole Radziwill “as a friend to Housewives.”)
“At least a year has passed since then [RHONY] reunion, at least, and there was a season [with] Atlanta seasons that were a year, or something like that,” Cohen said Radio Andy. “This happened sometimes in the Bravosphere that maybe there was a long wait for news … so that’s where we are. [with Miami] right now.”

When the season 7 reunion aired, Alexia’s estranged husband, Todd and Paulafiled a $10 million defamation lawsuit against Bravo for allegedly using his name and likeness without permission, People. TMZ reported in December 2025 that Todd, 53, filed a motion to dismiss his discrimination lawsuit against Bravo.
Amidst the drama of the case, Alexia, 58, is particularly open Us in November 2025 about where he stood with Todd. (Us it was reported in March 2025 that Alexia and Todd were “still together” despite reaching an agreement to finalize their divorce. They tied the knot in December 2021.)
“We talk. Yes, we do,” Alexia said Us while attending BravoCon 2025 in Las Vegas. “I want it to be like that because I like to be good with people. Life is too short and fragile, and I like things to be good. I need to feel good about myself.”
