Beauty and the Hero Australian alum Tamika Chesser it is reported that she gave birth in prison after allegedly cutting off her boyfriend Julian’s story last year.
In Australia 9 Stories reported that Chesser, 34, was pregnant when she was arrested in 2025 but the father of her child had not been publicly disclosed.
Us Weekly has reached out to Chesser and South Australia Health for comment.
On June 19, 2025, investigators found Story’s burned and mutilated body at the couple’s home in Port Lincoln on the Lower Eyre Peninsula. Chesser was then charged with murder, destruction of human remains and perverting the course of justice.
The former model has been held at the James Nash House mental health facility, near Adelaide, since her arrest last June. He is expected to appear in court in April. (Chesser has yet to apply.)
Australian broadcaster ABC reported in June 2025 that the police were called to the couple’s home when a neighbor saw smoke coming from their unit. According to the police report, the witness said “they saw the defendant and asked what he was doing, the defendant did not say anything” then he took his dogs and left and closed the front door.
After a witness tried to throw a bucket of water at Chesser and Story’s unit, they ended up calling 911. Police soon arrived at the scene and found Story’s mutilated body in the bathroom.
Chesser was found in a “critical and unresponsive condition” in a nearby yard and taken into custody, according to South Australian police.

Darren Fielke it was announced at a press conference last June.
Fielke continued, “I can only imagine … the grief this news has caused for Julian’s family. It is important that we find Julian’s head so that his family can have a chance to place him.”
Detective Superintendent Fielke later confirmed to the media in September 2025 that Ndaba’s skull was found by a local dog, according to the ABC.
“In one of the cases where the dog ran away and entered the scrub area, the dog did not return immediately when called,” explained the police spokesperson.
At the time of Ndaba’s death, his family thanked the community for their “care” as he “wandered”.[ed] an unimaginable loss.”

Chesser was the runner-up in the second season of the Australian reality show Beauty and the Hero in 2010. The reality show paired the attractive “Beauties” with the “Geeks” – or, socially disadvantaged men – hoping to win a grand prize of $100,000.
The real star is presented as a “cocktail” open waiter Beauty and the Hero and described himself as “the best at doing ‘animal sounds.'” In the show’s intro video, Chesser said his “favorite feature would be my smile.”
Chesser paired with “Hawaiian shirt enthusiast” Thomas Richardson-Smith in the reality show but they ended up losing to a dancer Jessie Byrne and National Mathematics Champion Michael Price in the middle Beauty and the HeroSeason 2 finale.
