Hulu’s 5 Most Anticipated New Movies and Shows for Spring 2026

Hulu may not have a mountain of content, but it has some great shows and movies coming this spring.
Among the highlights is the spinoff from The Handmaid’s Tale and revival of Malcolm in the Middle.
Those are just two of Hulu’s five most anticipated movies and shows of spring 2026, as selected by Watch Now.
Our remaining picks include a wild Hulu original movie, a movie that just hit theaters and a British drama with a big-name cast.
5. ‘Mike and Nick and Nick and Alice’ (2026)
The subject of Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice doesn’t fully give away the premise of the movie, but this is a sci-fi comedy and there are actually two Nicks, both played by Vince Vaughn. Nick No. 1 has already lived through this night and saw his friend, Mike (James Marsden), were killed for their actions. But fate and advanced science gave Nick a second chance and a way to go back in time.
Now, two Nicks, Mike and Alice (Eiza González), they have to find a way to survive the night with an underground criminal shooting them. No pressure, but there probably won’t be anything done at this time. They can fix things or they will have an early grave.
Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice will air on Hulu on March 27.
4. ‘Rivals’ (2024 – Present)
The foundation of Competitors may sound like low-status, but that’s not how Tony’s TV boss, Lord Baddingham (David Tennant), handles it. As for Tony, his desire to destroy his rival, Rupert Campbell-Black (Alex Hassell), is completely rational and will do anything to destroy his enemy while consolidating his power at the same time.
Season 2 will take that rivalry to the next level, and it will introduce us Hayley Atwell like Rupert’s ex-wife, Helen Gordon. Helen is remarried to Malise Gordon (Rupert Everett), but will undoubtedly play a major role in the ongoing conflict between Rupert and Tony.
Competitors Season 2 will premiere on Hulu on May 15.
3. ‘Send Help’ (2026)
There have been quite a few romantic films with plots like Send Help. But this is not that kind of movie. Rachel McAdams stars as Linda Liddle, a mild-mannered office worker at the financial management firm now owned by Bradley Preston (Dylan O’Brien). Bradley is a consummate bully and is willing to ruin Linda’s life and career just because he doesn’t like her. But when their company plane goes down, Linda and Bradley are the only survivors who make it to the isolated island.
Linda’s survival skills quickly shift the balance of power between Linda and Bradley, meaning she’s now calling the shots. Bradley can argue all he wants, but he is returning the abuse he received from Linda. Now that Linda has power over Bradley, she may not let him go.
Send Help will stream on Hulu this spring.
2. ‘Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Not Right’ (2026)
Malcolm in the Middle has been out of sight for almost two decades, but many of the show’s characters will be reunited in four episodes. Malcolm Middle: Life’s Not Right. Malcolm (Frankie Muniz) discovered that the secret to good health is to keep his family as far away from him as possible. His daughter, Leah (Keeley Karsten), and his girlfriend, Tristan (Kiana Madeira), has never met his parents or siblings. But that is about to change.
Hal (Bryan Cranstonand Lois (Jane Kaczmarek) are celebrating their 40th anniversary, and even Malcolm can’t get out of that. That means he’ll soon be spending time with his siblings, including Francis (Christopher Masterson), Reese (Justin Berfield), Dewey (Caleb Ellsworth-Clark), Jamie (Anthony Timpano) and Kelly (Vaughan Murray).
Malcolm Middle: Life’s Not Right will premiere on Hulu on April 10.
1. ‘Testaments’ (2026)
Testaments is a spinoff from The Handmaid’s Tale that goes back to the nation of Gilead, formerly known as the United States. The story of June Osborne (Elisabeth Moss) is over for now, but his daughter, Agnes MacKenzie (Chase the Infiniti), now he has grown up in Gilead, and he knows no other life than this.
As Agnes trains to be a maid with other girls her age, she meets Daisy (Lucy Halliday), a new employer from Canada who is secretly loyal to the opposition. Daisy’s job could be Agnes’ way out of Gilead, if the former can convince the latter that there is more to her life than being enslaved and forced to be a breeder of powerful men.
