Broadcaster Recalls Jeffrey Epstein’s Dinner for Prince Andrew

Former advertising maven Peggy Siegal he once hosted a late-night disgraced financier’s dinner party Jeffrey Epstein again Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

“I completely jeopardized my relationships with all these important people – they didn’t know who they were [Jeffrey] was,” she said to the star-studded guest list screening company. The dinner for 10 people is said to have included guests such as Charlie Rose, George Stephanopoulos, Katie Couric, Chelsea Handler again Woody Allenwho met Andrew while eating lasagna.

“They were told there would be no palace guards around Andrew at the dinner,” Siegal recalled. “They could ask him anything they wanted to know about [Prince William and Princess Kate Middleton’s 2011] marriage.”

According to the former broadcaster, Allen, now 90, only agreed to come because he was apparently told he could “wear his chinos and his bucket hat.”

“I don’t think he would have come if he knew who Jeffrey was,” she guessed.

Epstein was found guilty of child sex trafficking and conspiracy to traffic children for the purpose of criminal sex in a 2019 jury trial. He committed suicide at the age of 66 that year while incarcerated at the Metropolitan Detention Center in New York.

Andrew’s encounter with Andrew, meanwhile, resurfaced in the fall of 2025 when the FBI released the “Epstein Files,” which included photos of the two men together and their email exchanges. When the documents were released, Andrew voluntarily surrendered his HRH honours.

“In discussion with the King, and my immediate and extended family, we are aware of the ongoing allegations against me that are interfering with the work of His Majesty and the Royal Family,” Andrew said in a statement.
