“When you came into my life I had two different thoughts, one immediately after the other – I would have died in a heartbeat, but now I have to live as long as possible to be there to make sure you are safe,” Mariano wrote on Instagram on January 24.
He continued, “In a world with so much fear and hatred, I know you will bring your shining light wherever you go to make it a better and brighter place for those around you. I love you Ke’ala Coral, forever.”
