Jennifer Lopez Shares Photos From Her Twins’ Graduation

Jennifer Lopez she was a proud mother as she watched her twins from behind Size again Wait‘s high school graduation.

“They say I’m lucky, I don’t disagree…It’s just a feeling,” wrote Lopez, 56, on Saturday, June 27, alongside an Instagram carousel of recent events in his life.

The photos include the twins celebrating being part of the class of 2026, as well as other personal milestones, such as commemorating the release of his new comic. Office romance on Netflix and a box of pastries and decide what might be the world’s greatest croissant.

Lopez has often expressed the prospect of being an empty nester in the past few months, now that the twins will be graduating from two different colleges in the fall.

Earlier this month, Lopez told Extra that both Max and Emme overcame adversity on their way to graduating high school. (Lopez shares twins with ex-husband Marc Anthonymarried from 2004 to 2014.)

The “On the Floor” singer noted that the twins’ academic success was an inspiration especially because they have ADHD, which means they “learn differently and sometimes had problems.”

“I’m proud that they set goals for themselves. They all got into all five colleges they applied to. Each one received a school scholarship,” said Lopez. “And I felt like they worked really hard. I watched how hard they worked – from the time they were like, you know, when school started to get tougher in the fifth grade – they just worked hard, worked hard.”

He went on to say, “I am proud of them because they did what they said they would do, they are good people, they are loving people, with good hearts, and they always said that, I said to them, ‘What am I saying? They said, ‘It doesn’t matter if we get good grades as long as we are good people.’ I was like, ‘That’s right.’ And they will still quote that to me sometimes. So I’m very proud of both of them.”

During May’s appearance Jimmy Kimmel Live!Jennifer said she had been “crying for two months” thinking about the twins going to college. He confirmed that, like in high school, Max and Emme chose to attend two different universities.

“Okay, I want them to be happy, go where they want to go, do what they want to do,” he said.

As for being an empty nester, Lopez agreed Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen on June 8 that it was an “emotional moment.”

“It was always the three of us,” he recalled. “People came in and out of my life, but it was the three of us, they were always there, and I was there.”

Lopez admitted that, until recently, she “didn’t really think” about the prospect of her twins coming out.

“I never thought it would be that far,” admitted the host Andy Cohen. “I also thought they were independent – I gave them roots and wings. [I thought]’Well, it’s like … this is something a healthy mother should do.’ And then about a couple of months ago, I was just, like, writing their end of year thing to put in the show at graduation, and I just didn’t … every time it came up, I just cried. I can cry now.”
