Yellowstone’s Dutton Ranch Spinoff Has a Rare Kevin Costner Say

Yellowstone‘s spinoff Dutton Ranch made a rare reference to Kevin CostnerJohn Dutton’s beloved character.
In Us WeeklyIn an exclusive sneak peek from the Friday, June 26, episode of the show, Carter (Finn Little) confides in Beth’s mother (Kelly Reilly), saying, “My dream is to be a cowboy. To be like Rip – and your father.”
Beth supports Carter’s request to work with Rip (Cole Hauser) per day.
“Then you will work. Today. Rip will take you to 10 Petal,” he adds. “Cowboys don’t get a day off because they are hungry.”
Yellowstone viewers were introduced to the Dutton family — with Costner, 71, as the patriarch — when the show premiered in 2018. Rip and Beth’s epic romance was a central storyline. Over the years, fans have focused on the fictional couple as they deal with various relationship obstacles, family drama and the challenges of helping run the Dutton Ranch.

After the original series ends in 2024 (with alleged drama involving Costner and the creator. Taylor Sheridan), be Yellowstone the universe is expanded through CBS’ The Marshals and Paramount+’s Dutton Ranchfollowing Rip and Beth – and their son, Carter – as they adjust to life in Texas after their time in Montana.
Dutton Ranch introduced new characters to play with Annette Bening again Ed Harris. Some new ones include Jai Courtney, Natalie Alyn Lind, Marc Menchaca, Juan Pablo Raba again JR Villarreal.
Before the start of the show, Reilly, 48, expressed his love for the world Yellowstone.
“I love getting ready to play [Beth]because there is adrenaline going to Beth and it is very empowering. But it’s also incredibly gnarly. I have to hide them all to include some of that. I love him but I can’t live with him,” she said City and country november 2024 before Yellowstone series finale. “It’s not just about playing strong, talented women. That’s missing the point.
