Jillian Michaels described changing her political views as Neo in “The Matrix.”

“Honestly, it felt like Neo in the Matrix at first because I thought, you know, if you’re on the left, like you’re a compassionate person, you’re a good guy, you’re the one who cares about people,” the 52-year-old fitness icon told Dave Rubin on his “The Rubin Report” podcast.

Part of her evolution involved marrying a conservative man who “let me know it wasn’t right,” she added. “We had a lot of fights early in our relationship.”

He said he asked where they wanted to go to college, and he said he wanted to buy them a house right away.
