Lots of Love Island USA Couples Have Sex Before Breaking Up

I Love Island USA couples continued to find ways to work on their chemistry by having sexual acts caught on camera at night – before being emotionally terminated.
Viewers noticed that in the footage from the Friday, June 12, episode of the Peacock show, Honest Rhea again Melanie Moreno they were close and alone – as it did Zach Georgiou again Kayda Bosse. This happened after that Corbin Mims again Kenzie Annis it seemed to take their relationship to another level.
Love Island USA viewers had prime seats for this year’s sexcapades in Fiji. While previous seasons have featured some couples finding ways to share a minute or two, it feels like season 7 is setting some kind of record for the number of sex “trips” that take place in the locker room.
“We had a code name [for sex which was] ‘journey’ and it’s bothering me now. If an outsider says, ‘Oh, a trip?’ I would say, ‘How dare you!’ I clutch my pearls,” Amaya “Papaya” Espinal he joked on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast in July 2025. “People had a trip.”
Since there wasn’t much privacy, Amaya confirmed that it was difficult at night, adding, ”We were like, ‘Can I sleep?’ Of course we don’t get enough sleep here and you can hear it [sexual noises]. Ear plugs [we got] were they not connected? Those were low quality earplugs because we could still hear things. Especially when there are couples around you.”
Amaya was also asked about her time on The Hideaway with another winner Bryan Arenales. (The two have separated.)
“It was intense, okay. We were hot and sweaty. It was a really good feeling to have that private and intimate time,” she said. “Actually we want to talk to each other and we love being around each other. The next morning, we were sitting and just being quiet. It was nice and quiet. I felt like I found my best friend where I can go out or be quiet.”
When asked if Bryan “really ate that kitty at The Hideaway,” Amaya humbly replied, “He definitely took that advice. We had a great night.”
While Love Island viewers in the USA know that “trip” is the code word the Islanders use when talking about sex, the word “wrapped up” was one that was brought up a lot last season. Chris Seeley quietly revealed to Bryan that he had “hooked up” the night before with Huda Mustafa, adding, “I wouldn’t tell anyone. [But] I couldn’t do it anymore. I really tried [to hold out]. I just didn’t want to tell the other guys.”
In the confessional, Chris detailed how having sex helped his relationship with Huda evolve.
“I feel like that was just a good step for our physical connection that maybe we don’t show in front of everyone,” he said. “It definitely made us feel stronger in our physical connection. That’s all I can say about that.”
New episodes of Love Island USA are released six days a week – except Wednesday – on Peacock.
