Meghan McCain Criticizes Jimmy Kimmel for Spencer Pratt Trolling

“Jimmy Kimmel is a mean, heartless person and no amount of crying on the air is going to convince me or anyone else otherwise,” McCain, 41, wrote on X on Wednesday, June 10. “The day he goes off the air will be a better day for the country.”

McCain also posted a clip of Kimmel’s monologue, in which he offered to get Pratt, 42, a U-Haul to help him get out of Los Angeles after losing the primary election. As Kimmel spoke, a clip of a moving truck appeared on the screen. The car had balloons attached to its side view mirrors. Pratt’s face was also plastered on the side of the truck along with a sign reading “Just Defeated.” More balloons decorated the back side of the U-Haul, in addition to streamers and cans attached to the end.

“Our staff spent all day decorating you. And everyone will see you and say goodbye as you leave,” Kimmel said with a laugh. “I hope you are too [wife] Heidi [Montag] you are happy where you go.”

Pratt was competing against Bass, 72, and Councilman Raman, 44, to become the next mayor of Los Angeles. In the primary election held earlier this month, Bass was the first to advance to the national election in November. While Pratt appeared to be in the lead, Raman ended up in second place earlier this week as more votes were counted.

“I’m very happy that the voters gave us the opportunity to move on to the general election for Mayor of Los Angeles,” said Raman. Pratt has yet to speak publicly about his mayoral loss at press time.
