The Bright and Good: 5 Characters Fans Want Forever!

Bold and Beautiful finds out that right now, there are a few characters that B&B viewers have said they’d like to see off the character canvas. Starting with RJ Forrester (Brayan Nicoletti) and Remy Price (Christian Weissmann) and a few other people who for one reason or another have fans who want to scream or fast forward their scenes.

We’re going to talk about five characters, actually a little more than five, that fans always say they’d like to see gone. So, we’re going to talk about why fans are upset with these characters and want them out. And just to clarify, this has nothing to do with the characters. Fans are talking on social media and social media about the cast.

RJ Forrester: The Smug Nepo Baby

Let’s get into it. The first thing we will talk about is nepo baby RJ Forrester. Ever since they dumped her, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge’s son Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) are back with a vengeance. He pretended to own *Forrester Creations*, and he’s not adorable. It’s not the actor’s fault. It’s Brad Bell and his crazy writing. From the moment RJ entered *Forrester Creations*, he started following Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace), even though RJ knew she was in a difficult relationship with Will Spencer (Crew Morrow).

And RJ quickly approached Will and they made a pact that they wouldn’t be rivals like Bill and Ridge. But RJ was a bird to Will almost from the jump. And of course, Ivy Forrester (Ashley Brewer) didn’t help the situation, but her meddling wouldn’t have worked if RJ wasn’t such a little twerp.

He thinks he’s entitled to whatever he wants, which is Electra. And she said the worst things to Will. Yes, Ivy encouraged you, but RJ is a smiley little boy. And to be fair, I know there are fans who would love to see Will and RJ go out Bold and Beautiful. But when it comes to Will vs. RJ, fans are most upset about Brooke’s little boy.

Sheila Carter: A Failed Release from B&B

Another one that many fans think may just end now is Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) for several reasons. First of all, Brad Bell’s rescue attempt was a joke in the first place. Sheila is a very bad person. He tried to kill Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and her son John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan). Plus, Sheila is on a loose end right now.

It was icky that Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) cheated on Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig), but they went there. Now that Deacon has ditched Sheila and moved on with Taylor, there really isn’t anything LA about Sheila. The B&B writers have taken her off screen since Deacon broke up with her, and now she and Taylor are back, but Sheila has yet to be seen. Now, we’ve heard about her new roommate, but to be honest, there’s not much room for a 30-minute soap to go into all of this. Now, at this point, I currently suspect that the new roommate may be Remy, who is another person with a real problem. But at this point, why not just leave him off screen?

I’ll give Sheila credit for not killing Taylor when Deacon chose her. But now that Deacon and Taylor are officially together, what story will work for Sheila? Unless he’s back to his old revenge ways, he’s a no-brainer. I love Kimberlin Brown, but I don’t feel like there’s a place or purpose for Sheila now. And many fans agree.

The Bold and the Beautiful: Remy Price – Outlaw

Now, another character who recently returned, but who could have been left behind is Remy Price (Christian Weissmann). Another issue of Brad Bell trying to redeem the unaffordable. What Remy did to Electra was disgusting. And now they write the dialogue and make Remy say it was no big deal. But it was. And putting him back on track with Electra and trying to blame his crimes on her being in the closet feels tone-deaf and very poorly written. If they want to give Deacon a love interest, great. But why Remy? I give you that Christian Weissmann is a good actor. Again, this is not character news.

But the character they created was not meant to last. Remy was a terrifying villain who came to terrorize Electra and should have been gone. A deacon is not fit to stick to that creep. And making him Dylan’s cousin just makes him more icky.

And there’s the fact that Remy doesn’t seem to have changed at all. He doesn’t regret what he did to Electra. So why not bring in a shameless person to be a Deacon? Someone who has never done a deep fake nudity to a girl he trusted. I’ve seen suggestions that it would be better if they brought back RJ as Deacon’s gay partner. That might make him more likable, but the bottom line is that Remy is unpopular.

Bright and Beautiful: Is Electra a Whiny Troublemaker?

And speaking of Electra, she’s one of those fans who don’t care to see her gone. I’ve even seen fans say Ivy should go, but actress Ashley Brewer is out on maternity leave, and I really don’t expect to see her. It wouldn’t be right. But the problem fans seem to have with Electra is that she’s short-tempered and pouty and self-centered. And she didn’t come out to Will about all the times she kissed RJ At this point, it seems like Electra was leading RJ on RJ or, you know, throwing both around to see how it turned out.

That came, of course, after he was very bad at Thanda. Anyway, we keep seeing Electra defending RJ Electra who was just called RJ sweet while talking to Dylan. And I’m sorry, what? Flirting with a cousin’s girlfriend is bad. And yes, Will sucker punched him, but he agreed. Too many times, RJ deliberately whispered and talked to Will. So, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) told Will, “Good job punch.”

In addition, Electra was also unlikable during the whole thing where Dylan was living on the street and in danger. And Electra was very upset with him for living in a spare room over Will’s garage for several months, even in his main house. And Electra abused Dylan from the first minute he walked in there, even knowing how bad his life was. It was immoral, rotten, corrupt.

I doubt he would miss many if he fell Bold and Beautiful the canvas. And I especially see complaints whenever Electra is in flashback episodes. Fans want to see him under him or none of them. Despite that, I don’t see him leaving anytime soon.

Carter Walton: Underused and Poorly Written

The last character that fans think might be out is Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor). So, many fans think that Ridge should never have forgiven Carter for stealing *Forrester Creations*. But what I see from many fans is that Carter is underused and they don’t write well.

You know, we’re supposed to see him and Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) as newlyweds working on making babies, but honestly, we rarely see Carter and we’ve seen Daphne since. I was really excited for Carter and Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer) and then poof, he was gone. I didn’t enjoy Carter and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) because of the whole coup thing. Plus, they went back and did this insta-love thing and made nonsense of how Carter loved her for years. None of this happened and it felt disrespectful.

So, in fact, it seems that Lawrence Saint-Victor only gets screen time to portray other characters.

More Characters on the Recording Block

And another character that fans would like to see is Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson). And then, Brad Bell made a big deal about his comeback and it was a few episodes and it went away again. So the fans feel cheated. Another fan speculation is that Finn has no storyline and just shows up in a shirtless sofa nookie. I’m glad Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) is back. I love him. And while I like Brooke, I’m not sure that bringing back felony flop baby-selling mom Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) makes sense.

With 30 minutes of running time, the actual story time in a given episode is about 19 minutes. So reducing the cast makes sense, not adding to it, especially when they bring in unaffordable jerks with fans who fast-forward through many scenes and sometimes skip entire episodes.
