Ben’s Below Deck Faces Raw Guests in Final Season

Chef Ben Robinson his work is important to him Below Deck Down Under the end of the season as his last visiting team gives him a hard time.
In Us WeeklyIn an exclusive clip from the Monday, June 1, episode of the hit Bravo series, Ben checks in on the guests — and discovers they’re not happy about the lunch they asked for.
“I’m not happy, you know I was expecting [but] they don’t have much,” said the teacher while another visitor said “there is a lot of lettuce.”
That’s when it was Captain Jason Chambers it comes with several large pieces of red snapper. The guests, however, are not happy after the principals say that he “didn’t” order the fish.
“I’m not a rabbit. The amount of vegetables presented … I’m a big meat eater. Anything with protein, I’m good for it,” he told Ben. “Except for fish. So going forward, I’m not even a big fish eater.”
Despite being frustrated with the food, the co-primary contradicts herself by admitting that she said on her favorites sheet that she wanted “light for lunch” before listing lobster and shrimp as options she wanted.
The camera pans to a table where there are dishes containing various seafood. In a confessional, Ben admits that he has a problem with the direction he is being given.
“I want to make the best food I’ve made in my life in this volume. Unfortunately, we’re dealing with a sophomoric palate. That means immaturity,” he explained. “He wanted a seafood extravaganza – and I gave him all the seafood I have on the boat. Now, he wants a burger.”
In this season of Below Deck Down Under it was noted that Ben has returned to the franchise after taking a break. Before the end, Jason told before Us that 4th season was “challenging for everyone” on board.
“Everyone had their own little thing going on. Daisy was joining a new franchise and she had a point to prove. She was coming off a bad season at Sailing Yacht where she wasn’t putting her foot down with a certain team. João is coming back as captain and he had to swallow his pride and pride to come back on deck and help me,” he explained in February. “He found Ben, who has not been in this situation for a long time, he was running his own business.”
Jason continued, “To pick up knives and pack his bag after a failed relationship and agree to be here in 12 hours and turn his life upside down. We were all in something. There was a lot of tension there. Now I look back and I’m like, ‘Wow, we all had a personal challenge going into it.’
