Sam Levinson Praises Sydney Sweeney After Euphoria Finale

Sydney Sweeney not wanting to “skip” any nudity when it comes to him Euphoria The storyline for season 3, according to the show’s creator, Sam Levinson.

“When I first wrote it … I thought, ‘Well, maybe, we’re shooting all this, and we don’t have nudity,'” said Levinson, 41, during the Monday, June 1, episode of. Levinson made it clear that he is “constantly” having a conversation with actors about “what works best for the character.” Sweeney, 28, was not afraid to take risks.

“I think he’s a fearless player at all. He’s also a great worker, and he just shows the game every day,” he continued. “I like working with him, because there is a lot of flexibility in terms of performance.”

Levinson said there is “a lot of trust” between him and Sweeney.

“I’d say, ‘Why don’t we try this scene just for the crazy, for the humor.’ Suddenly, every other version of the scene can come out based on his performance,” he added. “We are dealing with this world of OnlyFans where women are paid to whisper through ear-shaped microphones and lick them.

While other stories had a clear ending in the Sunday, May 31, season finale, Sweeney’s was left open-ended with his final scene taking place on the sidelines. Maude Apatow. Cassie (Sweeney) was washing her sex toys while her sister, Lexi (Apatow), was affected by Rue (Zendaya) death.

Before Sunday’s episode, Sweeney took to Instagram with a few behind-the-scenes photos from the show’s final season.

“It’s called… acting,” she captioned the post, which included a nearly nude photo. (Sweeney’s barefaced scenes drew widespread criticism throughout the season.)

Levison previously addressed fan backlash over Sweeney’s NSFW storyline during an interview The Hollywood Reporter in April.

“[Cassie] he has his dog house and his little dog ears and nose, and that has his own humor.” But what makes this incident is the fact that the housekeeper is the one filming it.”

He added, “What we always want to find is another layer of absurdity that we can tie into so that we’re not too deep in his dream or illusion. The gag is to jump out, to break through the wall.”
