Jake Anderson confirming his divorce from his wife Jenna Anderson in the upcoming season 22 Premiere of The Deadliest Catchrevealing that they broke up last year.
“After 17 years together, 13 years married, Jenna and I have decided to call it quits,” said Jake, 45, during the new series, which airs entirely on the Discovery Channel, on Friday, May 8, according to a report. People.
The seasoned fisherman, who has been on the lifestyle show since 2007, explains that the breakdown of their marriage was not just one thing.

During the episode, which was filmed in the fall of 2025, Jake confirms that he and Jenna had been separated for eight months.

At one point in the first game, Jake has a meeting with a lawyer, who raises concerns about his ownership stake in the Titan Explorer.
“I don’t want you to invest any more money in your ownership interest in Titan Explorer because that may end up being an asset that needs to be separated in the case,” the lawyer explained to him.
Amid the tension on the ship, Jake takes over as captain Phil Harris‘ old boat, Cornelia Marie, also in need of some work.
“I’ve worked on it before,” Jake said to the cameras. “I was young, I had just met Jenna, she was yelled at all the time. Life was hard for me.”
Season 22 of The Deadliest Catch premieres on Discovery Channel on Friday, May 8, at 8 pm ET.
