Barbie Ferreira Reveals The Beauty Procedures She Has Done

Barbie Ferreira revealed all the cosmetic procedures she has – and has not – tried.
Ferreira, 29, opened up about getting the job done on the Friday, May 1, episode of the “In Your Dreams” podcast. While discussing turning 30, Ferreira opened up about doing “things” she’d never tried before, including using tretinoin retinoid cream to prevent signs of aging.
“Get a ride!” Ferreira scoffed at welcoming Owen Thiele, who then asked if that was all he would “do” to [her] face I love the laser,” shared Ferreira. “I haven’t done Botox yet because I have to reveal my face and I’m really afraid to go down that path. It will happen eventually.”
Thiele then pointed out that as an actor, Ferreira needs to have the ability to “feel.” Ferreira admitted, saying, “I’m the most vocal person ever – I’m really scared. So what I do, I like to do a lot of lasers like the Potenza. I used to do the Morpheus 8, which was crazy when I was 23 years old.” (Potenza benefits the skin by removing collagen, while Morpheus 8 uses microneedling to remodel collagen, tighten skin and contour fat.)
“That’s like a face lift,” Ferreira explained of the powerful laser. The Euphoria star added that because the treatment was so painful, she was given ketamine and laughing gas. “Call me here!” he recalled laughing.
Ferreira said she did the laser because she felt it could remove fat from her face. “So I’m doing Potenza now. It’s a little painful,” she said.
The actress made headlines last month for sharing her thoughts on being confident in her own skin. “For me, talking about losing weight or getting fit is very boring,” she said in an episode of the “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast. “I think people are obsessed with that right now, it will be even a teenager who has just grown up and says, ‘Shine up, or shine down!’ Everyone is passionate about that. He was 16, and now he is 25.”
He continued, “I’m not the only one. Every actor is currently being put under the microscope of being too thin or too big. It’s all fodder for anger. If you can find something to be angry about, it works better for the algorithm.”
