5.1 Friday Favorites – Fitnessista

No! Happy Friday! How was the week? I hope you have a good one! Ours was a mess, but it was good. Lola is still 100% puppy mode and keeps me on my toes here. Do not leave any food unattended; he will swipe it and split it twice.

(He also learned to drink from the sprinkler and do zoomies on the bed)
The pilot is home from a week of travel (YAY) and we are looking to see a BTS concert. Getting tickets was one of the most important things in my life lol but I made it happen and the girls are getting pumped. I hope you have a great weekend ahead!
It’s time to round up the weekly Faves! This is where I share some of my favorite finds from the week and around the web. I always love hearing about your favorites, too, so please shout out your favorite in the comments section below.
5.1 Friday Favorites
Fashion, beauty, random:
We took the crew to Vegas last weekend and it was amazing. I consider it their first *real* time since P was little and Liv was very young the last time we went. The pilot was in Vegas for a reunion, so the girls and I decided to crash the party. He was in a hotel just outside the first night and had planned to meet us on Sunday.

(riding the gondola at the Venetian! We’ve been to Vegas many times but never done this)
The girls and I arrived on Saturday afternoon and headed to Bellagio to check into our hotel. I booked the hotel using Amex platinum – my favorite perks and points! – and depending on which hotel you book, you’re usually eligible for late check-out, restaurant/breakfast credit, hotel or spa credit, and upgrades if available. (My referral link is here!)

Whenever I check in, I kindly ask them if they would like to check to see if there are any upgrades available. We got lucky a few times, and the check-in clerk started typing furiously. I was hoping to get a fountain view so we could watch the show, and he upgraded us to a PENTHOUSE SUITE FOR TWO. It was almost the size of our house.
He said, “You’ll have more fun this way.”
A gem!!!
So now the girls are spoiled for good hahah and totally obsessed with Vegas.
More pictures of the room!
It had a living room, dining room, full bar, two large bedrooms, and five bathrooms. It was completely wild and amazing. (I feel like maybe he felt like I needed a little pick-me-up after a rough week.)

I’m working on a blog post about Vegas ideas for teens/tweens but please let me know if anyone would like me to include any questions I can answer.

(Madame Tussad’s was a blast)
Remedy sent one of their Vitamin C serums and it’s great. I love that it’s inexpensive, fragrance-free, and makes my skin feel firmer and brighter.
Anthrop saw this and immediately looted. I love that it’s neutral with a fun extra detail.

Who are the most unexpected friends in your life?
Taking Liv to see The Devil Wears Prada 2 today – I will report!
Fitness, health, and good nutrition:
Back to strength training in the gym. I feel like I haven’t posted fitness content here in forever because I’m so tired. When I was in the depths of autoimmune fatigue, I started to dread the gym. I couldn’t do it, and that’s why I started taking more classes. I decided I really needed to strength train differently – I like 45 but I’ve lost a lot of muscle since I started, even though I only go on strength days- and it felt good to challenge myself with weights and move a little.

These gummies have been great for deep sleep when I feel stressed.
Important! Lumebox’s birthday sale is here and they’re having a 50% off weekend! If you have been looking for one, now is your chance! They are like the Swiss army knife of health services. I use it for pain, aches/recovery, headache, stomach cramps, skin, mood and energy, I looooove this. Get yours here!

Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today! Have an amazing weekend and I’ll see you soon!
xoxo
